Myers' walk-off hit caps Reds' first win of '26

The Cincinnati Reds secured their first win of 2026 against the Red Sox in a 6-5 victory at Great American Ball Park. Dane Myers' walk-off hit in the bottom of the 11th inning secured the win with a single that scored TJ Friedl. This was Myers’ third walk off hit of his career. The Reds had a 5-4 lead when closer Emilio Pagán surrendered a game-tying home run by Wilyer Abreu during a four-out save attempt, but Connor Phillips managed the win.
