Hall in 'perilous' state added to endangered list

Bridgnorth's New Market Hall, a Victorian market hall in Shropshire, has been added to an endangered buildings' list due to its poor condition. The Victorian Society has stated that the building, built between 1855 and 1859, is in a "perilous condition" and has been urged to return it to use as a civic hub or a town hall. The society has also called on owners to sell the building so a new custodian can secure its future. The ground floor is partially occupied but upper levels are deteriorating, with the rear wing particularly fragile.
