Rice signee Neerali Kapadia led Coppell to a 5-2 victory over South Grand Prairie in a Class 6A Division I area-round playoff. Kapadia, who leads the team with 23 goals, scored her second hat-trick of the season. The victory extended Coppells' eight-game playoff victories. The Cowgirls will now face the winner of the Midland Legacy-Mansfield Lake Ridge area playoff. Despite a strong effort from South Grand Pra, the team was unable to reach the third playoff round for the first time since 1995-96.
