The construction of portions of Congress Avenue in downtown Austin, Texas, will occur within the next few days. The construction will shift from the southwest corner of Second Street and Congress Avenue to the southwest. Southbound traffic will see an outside lane closure, reducing travel in that direction to one. The closure will result in detour from Second Street to Second Street.
