Ice skating star Alysa Liu has advised her parents to not push their children to stay in their sports, stating that it's never good to force a change. She retired from her sport four years ago and credits her break and return to the ice on her own terms. The advice comes from psychotherapist Lynn Lyons who suggested that parents should engage in a nonjudgemental discussion to resolve any issues.
