The Visit Atlantic City Soar & Shore Festival, a popular airshow for the summer, will be held on May 29-31 on the Atlantic City beach the weekend after Memorial Day. This marks the second time VisitAC, the tourism marketing arm for Atlantic City, has taken over the logistics of the event, which was previously assigned to the Greater Atlantic City Chamber of Commerce. The U.S. Air Force F-22 Raptor and the Marine Corps F-35B Lightning II Demo Team are this year's headlining acts. The event was initially canceled in 2023 and 2024 due to concerns about the event's financial health and act availability. However, this year, VisitAC moved the event to May as a summer kick-off, building on strong revenues the resort typically sees during one of the year's busiest holidays for shore travel.
