Salisha Ali, a 34-year-old Queens woman, was murdered by her 75-year old husband, Rupchand Simboo, who is accused of dismembering her and scattering her body parts in two parks. Her mother, Paula Seque, claims that she was tricked into visiting SimBoo the day of her murder. She had separated from him but was persuaded to return for a visit on the day she was murdered. The couple met at a Christmas party in their native Trinidad and Ali immigrated to Queens in 2024 and planned to send for her three daughters later. Despite her mother's claims that Simboe was controlling and wanted more out of the relationship, Ali's mother believes this is not true.
