New polls indicate that significantly more Americans are not buying the U.S.-Israeli strikes on Iran, which have resulted in six deaths in the conflict. According to a CNN poll conducted by SSRS, nearly six in ten Americans disapproved of the decision to take military action in Iran, while nearly half of Democrats and 68% Independents strongly or somewhat disapproved. The partisan divide is also evident, with only 23% of Republicans agreeing. Despite this, the White House maintains that its decisions are in the best interest of the United States and the American people. The public appears cautious about a conflict that Trump warned would likely take more lives.
