Braves No. 2 prospect making Atlanta take notice after hot start at Triple-A

The Atlanta Braves' No. 2 prospect, Alex Ritchie, has been impressing in his fourth start this season for Gwinnett, where he struck out five batters in 5 2/3 scoreless innings. The right-hander has limited opponents to three runs on 12 hits with 20 strikeouts, resulting in a 1.27 ERA and a.169 average against. This follows a rise from High-A to Triple-A last season, where Ritchie struck out 140 batters in 140 innings with a 2.64 ERA. He has also tweaked his six-pitch mix this season and has seen his whiff rate increase from 22.4% to 24.6%.
