Unbeaten Fairmont girls' basketball team is set to play against defending state champion Pickerington Central in the D-I state semifinal. Fairmont (26-0) is seeking its second state championship and first since 2013, having finished runner-up in 2011 and 2012. The team's coach, Jeremey Finn, said the game at UD Arena is a great opportunity for his players and their families. Pickeredton Central is one of the storied programs in state history, winning eight state championships. The key to the game will be handling the Tigers' pressure on the offensive end.
