A month into Operation Roaring Lion, uncertainty over the war and lack of a decisive result against Hezbollah have not significantly impacted Israel's political balance. A Maariv poll also found that 51% of Israelis do not trust US President Donald Trump to end the war with Iran in a way that would preserve Israel's interests. Within the coalition, Likud and National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir's Otzma Yehudit remained unchanged at 50 seats. In the opposition, Bennett 2026 held steady at 21 seats and Democrats with 10. Meanwhile, Eisenkot’s Yashar! gained two seats and rose to 13, while Yisrael Beytenu dropped to 9, and Yesh Atid dropped to 7. The survey also revealed that a majority of Israelis are dissatisfied with the government's handling of the Hezbollah war.
