Mass Layoffs Hit Brooklyn Park As Aerospace Supplier Shuts Down

Aero-linked manufacturer, Nilfisk Inc., is set to close its Brooklyn Park facility and remove about 105 workers from their positions. The company has submitted a revised Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (Wathendhend), updating its timeline for the layoffs from December 5, 2025 to July 3, 2026. The affected workers are represented by the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAAF), and there are bumping rights for those not represented by them.
