A new halfway house for women in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, is under construction and aims to empower the women on their recovery journey. Through a partnership with the Clem-Mar House, Leadership Northeast’s Team Renew and Restore is helping to bring a laundry room and clothing closet to the facility. The new facility will be able to house 34 women once completed. The team members are hopeful this will help the women feel dignified during their recovery. They are asking for donations from the team's wishlist.
