Iowa man charged in connection with a grooming investigation

In Iowa, Michael Herteen, a 51-year-old man, has been charged in connection with a grooming investigation and is being held in the Polk County Jail on a $50,000 bond. According to court records, Herteen developed a romantic relationship with a 15-year old girl, attempted to persuade her to perform sexual acts and sent explicit photos of himself.
