‘Wizards Beyond Waverly Place’ Returning After Cliffhanger Finale

Disney Channel show Wizards Beyond Waverly Place is returning for one more season after a cliffhanger finale of Season 2 of the show, following the revelation of Alex Russo (Alex), who jumped into a portal to save her family after discovering that Billie (Billie) was her daughter. The Disney Channel show will have a final four-part special before it is set to end this summer. Two of the original characters, Jennifer Stone and Gregg Sulkin, who played Jerry Russo and Jake T. Austin, will not be returning for the final season. The show will begin production in the second week of April and will air on Disney+ and Disney Channel. An exact date hasn't been announced yet.
