Rapper-turned-rocker, turned-a-country crooner, Kid Rock, didn't take kindly to Oscars host Conan O'Brien's slight jab at him during his monologue during the Academy Awards. O'Bouthened about the political implications of the show, warning that political issues could escalate. In response, Rock (born Robert James Ritchie) stated that he loved a good joke, but "this was not a very good one." He also commented on the “fake news media” for suggesting he was lip-syncing during his performance at the Turning Point “All-American Halftime Show” last month, which featured Rock playing two songs in a pretaped livestream meant to counterprogram Bad Bunny’s official halftime show.
