Duke basketball players Bill Raftery and Grant Hill were stunned by UConn's game-winning 3-pointer in March Madness, which gave the Huskies a 73-72 lead they wouldn't relinquish. The game was played after Duke's Cayden Boozer turned the ball over with five seconds left, leading to the game's winner. Despite the last-second gaffe, Duke's loss was attributed to numerous second-half mistakes, including eight turnovers in the second half. The loss also moved Duke's record as head coach to 124-25, marking the season's best overall for the program.
