Nursing Home Closure Ordered After Resident Death

The Bickford Health Care Center in Windsor, Connecticut, will close on April 10 following the death of a 93-year-old resident. The facility has been under scrutiny since the February 8 incident. The remaining 36 people will be moved to other nursing homes. The Department of Public Health is overseeing the closure, while the Connecticut Department of Social Services is handling financial matters.
