Cincinnati Reds pitcher Hunter Greene will be sidelined for 14-to-16 weeks due to elbow discomfort during the final month of the 2025 season. Greene had been dealing with the discomfort but continued to pitch through it. He left camp for multiple opinions and met with Dr. Neal ElAttrache, who recommended a PRP injection. A week before spring training, Greene felt discomfort again in his elbow. He remained a normal participant in spring training. Greene's procedure will remove the chips and loose bodies and his elbow is clean.
