The Hall County Tax Commissioner in Georgia has announced that over $124,000 in delinquent personal property taxes was collected from one company, Aeon Clinical Laboratories, in July. The tax commissioner’s office said this was after multiple attempts to collect four years of unpaid taxes from Aeon Global Health. The office initiated statutory levies to protect the county and school district from losing revenue. Staff from the Hall County Property Tax Division and the Hall county Marshal's Office secured approximately $2,200,000 worth of equipment from Aon Clinical Laboratories. The revenue collected directly supports schools, public safety, roads, and county operations.
