Sibling rivalry takes center court in season two of the television series "Running Point," starring Mindy Kaling and Kate Hudson, as well as Kaling as Executive Producer and Writer. The tension between the siblings is inspired by real-life NBA executive Jeanie Buss, the Los Angeles Lakers governor, who became the first female controlling owner to guide a team to an NBA championship. In the first season, Isla was appointed president of fictional team the Los Angeles Waves after her older brother Cam, played by Justin Theroux, stepped aside. Co-creator Kaling said the show captures a universal truth about family businesses and focuses on Isla's struggle to impress in a male-dominated sports world. The second season of the show will premiere on Netflix on April 23.
