The dish, which costs $9.99 for two 5-ounce portions, is a total copycat of Nobu's famous dish, with the chef Nobu Matsuhisa and co-owner Robert Deniro leading the global restaurant. The reviews on Reddit were overwhelmingly positive, with one reviewer giving it a 10 out of 10 for the consistency of the dish and the taste of the sauce. However, a YouTuber @thequeenfoodie compared the Trader Joe's version and the Nobu original side by side, concluding that the copycat dish was "the dupiest dupe of all the dupes."
