Liberty’s valuation jumps to eye-popping $600 million: ‘Kind of a testament to us’

The Liberty has tripled its valuation to $600 million, according to Sportico's annual WNBA franchise valuation report. This is a significant increase from the franchise's reported valuation of $200 million in June 2024. The Golden State Valkyries are the highest-valued women's sports franchise in the world, with the Indiana Fever ($560 million), Seattle Storm ($425 million), and Phoenix Mercury ($420 million). As a league, the average franchise value jumped from $269 million in 2025 to $427 million this year. The Liberty's new valuation is seen as a testament to their organization, fans, and owners' investment in their product.
