Wind advisory issued for central Indiana with gusts up to 50 MPH

A wind advisory has been issued for central Indiana, with strong winds expected to hit 45 to 50 mph and multiple rounds of storms expected throughout the weekend. Much of central Indiana is under a Level 1 (out of 5) risk for severe weather, with damaging winds as the primary threat. The severe threat is expected to end by late tonight. Showers and thunderstorms are expected throughout Friday, with high temperatures expected to reach near 80°. A stronger cold front will move through the region on Saturday, bringing widespread showers and storms with potential for heavy rainfall and gusty winds.
