Camp North End in Charlotte, North Carolina, has implemented a curfew for unaccompanied minors following multiple "teen takeovers" that have grown in size and disruption. The new policy requires anyone under the age of 18 to be accompanied by an adult after 6 p.m. every night. The decision was made after several weeks of incidents involving hundreds of teenagers. Business owners were divided on the curfew, with some believing it makes people feel uncomfortable and restricts their choices. The curfew was implemented for the first time on Saturday, April 25. The property will continue to have a large presence of off-duty police officers and additional security personnel onsite to help re-direct unchaperoned minors in accordance with the new policy.
