Portsmouth police charge man with murder in 47-year-old’s death after argument

PortsM. police have charged 44-year-old Bentley Tramaine Cherry with first-degree murder in the death of Christopher M. Blair, 47, who was found with a gunshot wound in a residential area off Portsmouth Boulevard. An argument ensued before the shooting, causing Blair to die. The suspect is being held without bond.
