New York City Schools has announced new guidelines on the use of Artificial Intelligence in schools. The guidelines state that AI can be used for activities such as brainstorming, organizing ideas, scheduling, and writing non-sensitive communications. However, it should not be used in student counseling, behavioral monitoring, and grading. These guidelines have been reviewed by families, teachers, and school leaders for 45 days.
