Prime Video has decided not to renew the YA series, The Runarounds, which premiered on Sept. 1 and was part of its major YA expansion following The Summer I Turned Pretty success. The show's female lead, Lilah Pate, recently booked a series regular role on another show, Frisco King for Paramount+. The Runarat was inspired by the real band of the same name, which formed in 2021 to appear on the hit Netflix action-adventure YAV series. Despite being in the Nielsen Top 10 for its first three weeks, it failed to break through.
