Kalshi Fines 3 Candidates for 'Political Insider Trading.' One Says He Did it On Purpose

The prediction market platform Kalshi has suspended and fined three candidates for Congress from Minnesota, Texas, and Virginia for "political insider trading". One candidate, Mark Moran, admitted to putting $100 on his name on Kalsh's own behalf, but only one of them claims it was on purpose. Despite Moran's previous announcement of his run, he will still face fines. All three candidates will be suspended from the platform for five years.
