Toyota is promoting its new electric SUVs in a new 'Haters Anthem' ad campaign, using puppets that hate EV (EV hater) puppets to convert skeptics into believers. The ad aims to show that the vehicles can be used more than just getting from point A to point B, but also show how going electric can feel simple, natural, and worth exploring. The 2026 Toyota bZ, formerly the bZ4X, has been upgraded with longer driving range, faster charging, and an NACS port so drivers can recharge at Tesla Superchargers. The company now offers three all-electric SUVs, including the 2026 bz, C-HR, and bZ Woodland, and the 2027 Highlander BEV. Despite these efforts, Toyota remains committed to its Multi-Pathway strategy, which includes electric (EV), hybrid (HEV), plug-in hybrid (PHEV), and ICE vehicles.
