Harlequins defeated Sale Sharks 26-17 in the Investec Champions Cup, reaching the last eight. England fly-half Ford opened the scoring after 20 minutes with a successful penalty, followed by three more in the second half. Both teams failed to score the first try, with both teams missing several key scoring opportunities. Sale's Will Evans was sin-banned for several minutes and Sale's Adam Cowan-Dickie scored for the second time. The final score was 17-17.
