The internet is currently obsessed with 7-month-old baby macaque monkey, Punch, who was abandoned by his mother at birth. The Ichikawa Zoo in Japan gave him an emotional support stuffed orangutan to act as a stand-in mom. Since then, he has found a new home and some new monkey besties. A video was shared by Complex on social media platform, X, showing Punch being comforted by two older monkeys after he accidentally fell into a pond. However, some commenters claimed that the zoo was not being honest about what actually happened. Travel Pirates also confirmed that Punch was attacked and pushed into the pond on March 7 before his feeding time, and was playing with other monkeys his age.
