Michael J. Fox, the star of "Back to the Future" and "Family Ties," made a touching speech at the Actor Awards, formerly the SAG Awards on March 1. He stated that acting made him a star and changed his personal life when he landed on "FamilyTies" and that his wife, Tracy Pollan, played Ellen on "Theater Ties" gave him four gifts: their children, Schuyler, Aquinnah, Esme and Sam. The audience was awash with applause before Fox even said a word.
