Former Indianapolis Mayor and candidate for Indiana Secretary of State Greg Ballard has announced he is starting a new political party named the Lincoln Party. The party would be established if Ballard successfully garnishes enough signatures in the secretary of state’s race. Currently, the Democratic, Republican, and Libertarian parties are the only parties qualifying to appear on the Indiana ballot.
