Amber Ramirez, a former high school standout for the Wagner Thunderbirds, is now coaching San Antonio's next generation of basketball players. She was a five-star recruit and a standout player in the sport, earning McDonald's All-American honors and leading Wagner to back-to-back victories in the tournament. She also served as an assistant coach for the Sotomayor girls’ basketball team and coaches with SA Finest.
