BTS' "Arirang," their first studio album in six years, has been successful in its first-day streaming results on Spotify. The album, which debuted with a reported 110 million streams globally, is considered the best opening number on Spotify so far in 2026. This surpasses the 63 million streams of Harry Styles' "Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally" on its opening day. The opening-day figures for other major releases include J. Cole's "The Fall-Off" and A$AP Rock's "Don't Be Dumb". However, any overall Billboard/Luminate numbers regarding sales and radio airplay are yet to be reported.
