Paul Thomas Anderson and Maya Rudolph, known for their roles in their films, are set to compete at the 2026 Oscars at Hollywood's Dolby Theatre with 13 nominations including Best Picture and Best Director. While they've collaborated on several occasions, including in Anderson's Inherent Vice and Licorice Pizza, they are the opposite of a Hollywood couple. They live in Southern California's San Fernando Valley where Anderson grew up and plans to never leave. Their four children, Pearl, Lucille, 16, Jack, 14, and Minnie, 12, were named after Rudolph's late mom, singer Minnie Riperton. Despite their fame, Anderson remains committed to staying home and seeing his children have memories there.
