Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos has stated that he believes Nancy Guthrie's kidnapper could strike again, over a month after she was abducted from her Arizona home. The case has attracted national attention and led to an extensive search for both Guthrie and her abductor. The sheriff believes that the kidnapping was targeted and that the suspect may have targeted the Guthrie family. The investigation has involved old-school DNA leads and newer technology to surface images of the alleged suspect from a doorbell camera in front of the elderly woman's home. Private companies have also retrieved footage of a masked and armed man approaching the home the night of the kidnapping.
