After a period of cold and lake-effect snow, Northeast Ohio is expected to close out the week with a milder pattern, with temperatures expected to reach the upper 30s to low 40s. The National Weather Service in Cleveland expects a mostly dry day with increasing clouds and a slow rebound in temperatures. Despite occasional chances of light rain showers, temperatures are expected to rise through the week, with highs expected to be in the mid to upper 40s and lower 50s on Friday. However, temperatures could change depending on the temperature, which could lead to differences in weather models and apps, with some pushing closer to 60 degrees. The milder air will continue to lingers into the weekend, with high temperatures expected in the upper 50s and low 60s.
