The New England Patriots have made several moves in the first two days of the National Football League's free agency period, including signing former Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs to a 4-year, $70 million contract. The 25-year-old Doubs caught 55 balls for 724 yards and 6 touchdowns in 15 games during the 2025 regular season. This move is expected to stabilize the receivers room after the Patriots released wide receiver Stefon Diggs. Other notable moves include signing former New York Jets guard Alijah Vera-Tucker, fullback Reggie Gilliam, defensive end Dre'Mont Jones, and linebacker Jesse Luketa. The Patriots' starting center, Garrett Bradbury, was traded to the Chicago Bears just prior to the start of free agency.
