Denver Broncos coach, Sean Payton, has expressed doubt that any NFL players will make up the Team USA flag football roster for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. The national team currently consists of professional flag football players, many of whom are several years removed from playing tackle football. The NFL voted last summer to approve its players for Olympic competition. However, Payton noted that while many lack experience playing flag football, it will take a few months to acclimate.
