Doha Film Institute Qumra Event Moved Online Due to Iran War That Has Seen Qatar Under Attack

The Doha Film Institute's Qumra Arab film industry incubator has been moved online due to the ongoing U.S.-Israel-Iran war, which has seen Qatar under attack. The event, set to take place March 27-April 1, had been scheduled to include masterclasses and mentoraries from Diego Luna, Gael García Bernal, Alice Diop, Faouzi Bensaïdi and Gustavo Santaolalla. The online format will focus on private mentorship sessions for selected DFI-supported film and TV projects.
