The Arkansas Racing Commission unanimously approved FanDuel and DraftKings for sports wagering vendor licenses for Arkansas sports betting. The decision was made due to concerns about a revenue split that forces third-party operators to give more than half their revenue to their in-state partner. DraftKings and FanDul have accepted this split, as they partner with Oaklawn Casino and Southland Casino Hotel respectively. The new partnerships do not include prediction markets, only online sports betting, and all Arkansas betting apps must operate under a 51-49% revenue split. The Arkansas Gaming Commission regulates racing, casino betting and sports betting in Arkansas and operates under the authority of the Arkansas state government. However, there are currently available sports betting licenses for Caesars or other interested parties.
