‘Sonic 4’ Director Reveals First Look at Metal Sonic as Shoot Wraps

Sonic 4, the sequel to the Sega video game series, is set to be released in 2027 and will be directed by Jeff Fowler, who previously directed the first three movies. The film stars Ben Schwartz, Kristen Bell, Colleen O'Shaughnessey, Idris Elba, and Keanu Reeves as voice characters. The Paramount Pictures feature will also feature an untitled film. The director shared a photo of himself with a puppet of Metal Sonic, an evil robot version of Sonic from the gaming franchise.
