Cameron Rogers, a mental health advocate and influencer, has been vocal about her experiences with antidepressants and believes they have helped her enjoy motherhood better. She was diagnosed with post-concussion symptoms after being hit by a car and decided to quit her corporate job, which left her feeling stressed and anxious. After a year and a half on the antidepressant, she returned to the doctor and began taking it again. She has been on Zoloft since then, through her first two children and into her third pregnancy. Rogers hopes to help erase stigma around mental health and medication, stating that while mental health is an invisible injury or ailment, it means that some people need more support than others.
