The suspect identified as 53-year-old Ndiaga Diagne in the mass shooting at Buford's bar in Austin, Texas, which killed two people and injured multiple others on Sunday, March 1. The suspect was killed by police and was reportedly wearing a sweatshirt with an Iranian flag design. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) stated that Diagne entered the U.S. in 2000 on a B-2 tourist visa and after marrying a US citizen six years later, he became a lawful permanent resident. The FBI is currently investigating the shooting as a potential act of terrorism.
