A new Star Wars book, Star Wars: The Secrets of the Jedi, has revealed that Vernestra Rwoh, a major character from The Acolyte, may have inadvertently aided the Sith's return in the High Republic era. The updated edition of the book, which now has the subtitle The Chronicles of Luke Skywalker, is "written" by Luke Skywalker in 34 ABY (AKA 34 years after he blew up the Death Star on the Star Wars timeline) and features his reflections on major events in the galaxy. The book also revealed that Luke Skywalker knows Cal Kestis survived Order 66 and that Darth Plagueis will eventually become Palpatine's Sith Master.
