A couple has filed a discrimination lawsuit against The Strat, claiming they were kicked out of the property due to their gender and sexual orientation. The lawsuit alleges that Brianne Garcia and Lelannie Dominguez were escorted from the premises after being called "too affectionate" and were "battered" by a security guard. They are seeking damages for negligence, battery, discrimination in a place of public accommodation, and negligence in relation to negligent hiring, training, retention and supervision.
