Two juveniles were found inside a restricted building at the Fairfield Hills campus in Newtown, Connecticut, on March 25. The police responded to a report of multiple people being inside the building and each other. The juveniles were each issued a summons for trespassing, which could lead to additional charges including criminal mischief and child endangerment. The public is urged to avoid entering unused buildings at the facility due to potential safety issues such as poor air quality, unstable structures, lack of supervision and the presence of pests.
