She praised the victim's bravery and dedication to her safety. She also expressed her desire to break cycles within her own family to prevent child abuse. Joseph Duggar was charged with two counts of child sex abuse in relation to a 2020 incident involving a then-9-year-old girl. The charges were filed by the Bay County Sheriff’s Office after the now-14-year old girl allegedly reported he sexually molested her in 2020. Following the arrest, Jillgar Dillard's family condemned the news on the Dillard Family blog and expressed support for the rule of law and hope justice will be achieved.
